As a former City employment lawyer., Sarah brings Skarbek over 12 years’ experience of working with clients in a variety of sectors. As a trusted business advisor she enjoys partnering with clients to solve difficult operational and strategic challenges.
Strengths and Career Achievements
Sarah spent a significant amount of her time in private practice, stepping in to assist and advise clients on transition and major organisational change, business transfers, portfolio acquisition and complex outsourcing arrangements. She has advised on, and project managed, high profile restructuring programmes, large-scale change of terms projects and complex multi-party litigation.
Sarah has represented clients across a diverse range of sectors and is particularly experienced in dealing with sensitive regulatory and professional conduct issues. She has an exceptionally user-friendly, pragmatic and commercial approach to her work and is committed to ensuring that she provides practical solutions with a ‘can do’ attitude. Sarah’s focus is always on achieving client objectives and ensuring business needs are a priority. She works closely with clients to align strategy, policy and structure with skills, values and leadership to achieve positive and lasting change.
Sarah read law at Edinburgh University with a specialism in employment law and is a Prince2® Registered Practitioner.
