Alison has significant commercial, project management, and operational experience across a number of disciplines within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sector.

Alison has extensive experience in the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology sectors, as well as Corporate Finance. She works with Skarbek’s clients on Project Management, Transformational Change and Mergers & Acquisitions.

Strengths and Career Achievements

Alison spent 5 years broadening her experience as a Healthcare and Life Sciences sector specialist in KPMG Corporate Finance, working with UK and European M&A and Private Equity teams. Prior to that she spent 16 years in a variety of roles in regulatory affairs, leading clinical drug development and drug development outsourcing in both the Pharmaceutical Industry and a service provider.

Alison’s consulting projects have been varied, including participating in an organisational review for a major company dividing assets into two new legal entities, and working on post acquisition integration. She has completed a number of consulting projects and interim management roles in pharmaceutical and biotech companies, leading teams working to regulatory deadlines.

Alison has an Applied Biology degree from Brunel University and an MBA from the Imperial College Management School.
